Dancing with the Richmond Stars presented by C&C Electric

The stars are coming out for Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU! The ninth annual Dancing with the Richmond Stars event coordinated by the MCV Hospitals Auxiliary will be held on Friday, May 17 at 7 p.m. at the VCU W.E. Singleton Center for the Performing Arts, 922 Park Ave.

Eight local stars, partnered with professional dancers from Rigby’s Jig Dance Studio, will light up the stage with tantalizing tangos, outrageous rumbas and fierce foxtrots. Enjoy an evening of fabulous fun and sizzling competition – all for the benefit of the many children served at CHoR. Dong’s Karate Tournament for CHoR

On Saturday, June 1 at Freeman High School, students from Dong's Virginia and out-of-state locations will compete in different categories related to Tae Kwon Do at the 48th Anniversary Dong's Martial Arts Tournament to benefit Children's Hospital Foundation. Over the last 23 years, the tournament has raised $533,078 for the Foundation. Tickets are $5 and may be purchased here: or at the door. On Saturday, March 30, miracles happened for children across Central Virginia at VCU’s fourth annual RamTHON, a Miracle Network Dance Marathon event. Over 400 students gathered for eight hours to dance, play games and hear from CHoR patient families. Together these incredible students raised $22,519 for CHoR! View their recap video here.
