Save the dates: Annual required skin testing for tuberculosis for all credentialed providers in June, and annual provider blitz

For the safety of patients and staff, all MCVP and MCVH credentialed providers, including but not limited to attendings and housestaff, NPs, PAs, CRNAs, and midwives, must fulfill annual requirements for tuberculin skin test (TST) screenings.

Convenient TST screening will take place on June 5-6 from 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. in The Learning Center.

Please bring the following documents with you:

  • Appropriate documentation if you have received this test within the past 12 months at another location
  • Completed questionnaire if you are a known positive and have not faxed or emailed it to Employee Health Services already

All needed TST information can be found on the HR4U portal www.hr4u.vcuhealth.org by selecting “HR Library” and entering TST in the search bar. This will route you to the article about TST. At the bottom is a link to the documents landing page on which you will find the needed documents.

TST readings will take place in the Main 2-127 (second floor of the cafeteria) on June 8 - 9 from 8 - 10 a.m., 12 - 1 p.m. and 3 - 5 p.m.
